Goals: She wants to double the number of people see would normally get at events. Double her facebook page likes, start a mailing list and have it grow at 10-20 a week.

Budget: She can afford £150 to hire some to work 7.5 hours a week (£20 an hour) for four weeks and then see if it’s working. This will cost her £600. We have can plan for four weeks to a year. The best is to engage one of our DMs (digital managers) for a few days. The plan has to be tweaked to fit within the budget, but first week can be spent putting things in place.

Overview: The overall plan is to build the local community of readers, authors and friends in the area. We will aim to have reading once a month and get 100-200 people at these. We will build social media, organic traffic, content assets. Aim is to build strong twitter campaign and build by 100 followers a week.

  • Compose 500 word article – 2.5 hours
  • Post two articles to blog, compose newsletter and send – 2 hours
  • share blog on facebook, twitter and 5 sites -1 hour

Outcome: Over this time we have followed 2000 people on twitter, targeting local words and read, author, book and the like, as such at least 500-800 would have added back. We have promoted the event daily on twitter, weekly on Facebook and likely doubled it.

Mailing list is promoted daily and no doubt hits the goal of 100 by the end of four weeks. We can do you tube marketing if this is wanted as an exra.
